A PhD candidate in the Department of Geography at Rutgers University interested in the selection and management of Protected Areas. I hold a M.S. in Zoology from Miami University and a B.S. in American Studies from Douglass College. My professional work includes endangered species monitoring for local agencies (NJDEP and NJ Audubon), and federal agencies (Everglades National Park and USGS-BRD). I have organized environmental stewardship projects while working as an Americorps member in Tennessee and as a Reserve Steward for the UC Santa Cruz Reserve System in California. Before returning to graduate school, I was a database manager for the Amboseli Baboon Research Project at Princeton University.
